A certificate of completion will be provided to attendees who join the video conference and participate for the full hour.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Identify commonly experienced myths, clichés, advice and hurtful behaviors

2. Understand and discuss why family and friends react the way they do.

3. Share strategies and suggestions for how to handle and/or respond.

Cost = $10.

A certificate of completion will be provided to attendees who join the video conference and participate for the full hour.

Participants who attend and complete an online evaluation will receive a $10 credit voucher to attend the Stillbirth Summit 2100 in Minneapolis, MN or the Virtual Stillbirth Summit.  This activity is recognized for 1.0 hour of continuing education credit for nurses.

About the presenter:

Sherokee and her husband David have suffered a miscarriage (Marama), a stillbirth (Brennan), and an ectopic pregnancy (Bryna). She has survived for over 30 years by sharing her experiences and trying to help others in similar situations. She is an international speaker and educator to a variety of organizations and groups around the world on perinatal/infant loss and bereavement. Her passion helped her author multiple books on surviving miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death for parents, friends and family, and health care teams.
