1st Breath Provides Remembrance Ribbons at International Meeting.

May 09, 2012

1st Breath provided special ribbons for families to wear to make their presence known to the many researchers and attendees while attending the international Stillbirth, SIDS and Infant Survival meeting.  We feel it is important for researchers to hear what families experience in addition to what data is provided to them.  This is especially true in cases where a baby is born still.  Parents are not normally interviewed or details always recorded as to their experience and valuable information is therefore often not passed on to researchers.  It is 1st Breath’s hope that the ribbons will allow researchers to more easily seek out families and learn more details that they have not been previously provided.

If you would like to help make items available to bereaved and grieving families, your donation would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be made through the website or mailed to 1st Breath, P.O. Box 28864, Kansas City, MO 64118
