There are numerous ways, besides a monetary donation that you can help. By using the skills and abilities that you may have, or just simply being willing to share your compassion, you can help.

The Compassion Care Kit program is always in need of items to be included in the kits that we provide to hospitals. Do you scrapebook, craft or like to word process and print?  Perhaps you could make a special baby book parents could use to keep memories of their baby.  If you sew maybe you would like to provide receiving blankets or clothing for a baby. If you are able to do monograms many parents would love to have their babies name and birth date put on a blanket. Or perhaps you could make small pillows for the baby’s casket.

Parents have often spent their money on cribs and baby items to furnish a nursery, and the sudden need to also purchase a casket is often more than a family can bear. If you have carpentry talents and would be willing to build a small wooden casket, you would be helping families greatly.  If you sew you could make small pillows to pad the baby’s casket.

Perhaps you have musical talents that you would like to provide by writing a special song to be played at a service or event. Do you have computer skills that would help develop brochures? Arts or crafts skills that could help make memory items, pendants or key chains? Perhaps you would like to help support parents by preparing remembrance cards for special holidays and dates. Can you help get the word out that we need the public to promote support of bills that will fight stillbirth? Do you have airline points that could be used to get to training events? Even the act of telling your doctor about our work is helpful. The need is as large as your imagination.
